Blair Dixon, born on December 12, 1941, passed away on January 30, 2020 at the age of 78. He was born in Wilber, PA, the fifth child of seven, to Velma (Larson) and Roland Dixon. In 1960, Blair graduated from Forbes Joint High School in PA. He then went to Ohio where he met his wife, Frances Mallick. The two married in 1962, and moved to Fontana, CA a year later. Here, Blair worked as an auto mechanic and at Kaiser Steel as a welder. After working at Kaiser Steel for 17 years, Blair worked for Lake Arrowhead Community Services District for another 27 years. Blair and Frances built a home in Lake Arrowhead, CA where they lived for 11 years before moving to Highland, CA. He retired in 2009, at the age of 69. In his spare time, Blair enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, working on his computer, keeping his yard looking nice, eating good food, and spending time with family and his furry grandchildren. Blair is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Frances; three children, Don and his wife Colette, Diana and her husband Joe, and David and his wife Chrissie, all of CA; three granddaughters, Brandi, Nicole, and Haley; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Aletta and Sondra, both of PA: and several nieces and nephews. Following his cremation, a celebration of Blair, a wonderful Husband, Dad, and Grandpa, will be held at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary in Colton, CA on February 14, 2020 at 10:00 am.
