Kent Rogers was my Uncle, I loved him very much.  He took me in, after my mother was killed in an automobile accident when I was 13. He was only 11 years older than me and was more than an Uncle to me.  I love him and respect him and he taught me so much.  I will always miss him.  I can't believe I will never get to see him, or talk to him again.  Please let him rest in peace, Daren, he is and was a great man.

Mr. Kent rogers is one of the most incredible men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He was the prime example of aans man. He always carried his own wait. He did not beleive that any capable man should rely on others to help provide for himself. He was generous to those who had need and he was tough on those that were strong. He was a man that other men looked up to and respected. A self made man that gave much to our communities and showed us how to stand up for our rights as citizens and businessmen. Mr. Rogers gave to me and showed to me a world that I could never have imagined and exposed me to people things and places that I would have otherwise never known. He was a leader not a follower. He was stern and patient forgiving compassionate extremely disciplined never a quiter and always finished what he had begun. He was a fine example of honor integrity determination and good old fashioned manners. He was a lot of things to a lot of people but to me he will always be DAD he will be missed and remembered by a great many. It has been my great honor to be and always will be his son Daren kent Rogers.
