Carmen A. Moreno, 80 years old of Highland, California, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 7, 1932, in Zacatecas, Mexico to Tito and Maria de Jesus Alvarez. She is survived by her daughters, Carmen Valdez, Maria Lozano, Xochitl Varela, Esperanza Moreno, Veronica Colis and Rosa Mena. Sons, Pedro Moreno, Jr., Eugenio Moreno, Humberto Moreno, Jose Juan Moreno, Jeronimo Moreno and Gustavo Andrade. Also, her loving 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carmen was a homemaker for over 60 years.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, 4-8 p.m. at Montecito Valley View Chapel in Colton, California. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at In His Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1214 Columbia St., Redlands, California. Burial will follow at Montecito Memoarial Park.
