Carol Anne Conrad, love wife, mother, and sister passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 14, 2020 after fighting a long battle with cancer. She will be reunited now with loving family and friends gone before her.
Carol was born on April 4, 1957 in Chicago to Albin and Evelyn Radzik who proceeded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband, Leonard Conrad, her daughter, Regina (Eddie) Hertenstein, her son, Leonard (Julie) Conrad, her grandchildren Eddie Jr., Kane, and Emma Hertenstein, Littlest Lenny Conrad, her mother-in-law, Evelyn Warack, her brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews, and an abundance of family and friends.
Carol loved life. Her most precious role in life was being a mom and Oma/Grandma. Carol loved traveling and being close to the water with her family. Carol fulfilled her dream of becoming a registered nurse 30 years ago. As an RN she developed many loving, lasting relationships with coworkers. She found great joy in her career.
Carol will be remembered for her generosity and kindness as well as her spunky spirit and strength. Our Warrior Princess will be forever missed but will live on in our hearts.
Her celebration of life will be on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 10am at Montecito Cemetery 3520 E. Washington St. Colton, CA 92324, with a reception to follow at the Conrad’s residence.
