

Carol Joye Teague Westmoreland was born October 5, 1955, to parents Ellis Westmoreland and Mary Lou Westmoreland. Carol is the fourth child of six; Jane, Cathi, Peggy, Jill, and Kevin. Carol graduated from Cajon High School in 1973, and married shortly thereafter, to Michael Reisert. Carol was a mother to four children. In February 28, 1974 she gave birth to her first son Michael Reisert. On May 25, 1979 she gave birth to her second son Matthew Coker. Carol later gave birth to her first daughter, Myriah Teague on September 4, 1985. Finally Carol gave birth to her youngest son, Maverick Teague on May 11, 1993. In July 29, 2004 Carol married her partner of twenty years Virgil Teague. They were together for thirty years. Carol was blessed with 7 grandchildren; Catherine and Jacob Reisert of Oklahoma; Aspen and Reed Coker of South Carolina; Aamiah Fox of Arizona; lastly Trevor and Corbin Zimmerman of Texas.
Carol was passionate in helping victims of domestic violence and violent crimes. She gave hope and strength to all those she counseled. She helped many women change their lives. She went on to help individuals with special needs until she became disabled herself.
As a young child Carol would sing and dance in front of a mirror. She learned to play the piano at a young age. Her love for music continued throughout her life. No one could remember a song like Carol. Carols favorite place to go was Oceanside, California. Many family vacations were spent in Oceanside. Carol was quick witted and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was always the life of the party, and the director and coordinator of many dance offs.
Carols smile and laughter will remain with us forever. Carol was loved and will be missed dearly.
