Cecilia graduated from East Carbon High School in Utah. She soon was married to David R. Martinez in 1961.
David and Cecilia were blessed with 5 Children: Stephanie (60), Tammy (59), Veronica (56), David (54) and Terry (51); 9 Grandchildren; Tiffany, Gerardo, Alex, Eric, Brenda, Bianca, Vanessa, Selena and April; 9 Great Grandchildren; Alyssa, Mia, Krystal, Mark Leila, Kate, Madeleine, Jonathan and very soon Eleanor.
Cecilia enjoyed playing Bingo, Elvis music, cooking and most of all spending time with children and grandchildren when she could. She enjoyed seasonal sports Football, Baseball and Basketball.
She worked for some time at Northrop Aerospace as a Security Officer and enjoyed meeting and assisting employees.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her Mother and Father Pete and Manuelita Franco and siblings Mary Bigbee, Pete A Franco, Dorothy Lucero, Frank Franco.
Cecilia is survived by siblings Sylvia Pacheco, Paul Franco, Janet Campos and Darlene Romero.
A visitation for Cecilia will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, Cypress Chapel 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA 92354. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Cypress Chapel 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA 92354. A committal service will occur Friday, March 17, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 3510 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
