

Charlie Amador Hernandez age 69 was born in Loma Linda, CA on May 29, 1944 and passed away on December 27, 21013 in San Bernardino, CA. He is survived by his wife Angie Hernandez, their four children, Nadine Orozco, Charles Hernandez, Desiree Shifflett, Monique Negrete; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Charlie grew up in Bryn mAwr, CA with his parents John and Emma Hernandez, three sisters and one brother. At the age of 12, he began working for JJ Ramirez seasonally lighting smudge pots in the orange groves in the local are. As the years went on he began hauling fruit for Ramirez, building a strong work ethic. He was later fortunate to be hired by the City of Redlands where he worked for 30 years as a Sanitation Driver. Charlie always believed in working hard to support his family and enjoying being surrounded by family and freinds.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 9:30-10:00am with Church services following at Our Lady of the Rosay Cathedral, 265 W. 25th Street, San Bernardino, CA 92405. Burial services to follow at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA 92324
