Clyde Eugene Graham was born on April 21, 1925 in Delia, Kansas to Lee Arthur Graham and Kathryn Marie Reddy-Graham. He moved from Kansas to California in 1931, driving across country with his mother and six siblings in an old Buick. Clyde joined the war effort in 1941 by signing on with the US Navy and sailed around the world before being discharged in 1946. He met and married the love of his life, Louise Le Fever in 1949, their marriage lasting over 50 years until her death. He resided in Colton for 81 years, retiring from the California Department of Roads after 25 years of service. He served many years as President of the Terrace Water Company Board of Directors.
He enjoyed his friends at Centerpoint Church in Colton.
Clyde was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. He was a great story teller and shared his tales and journeys with all who would listen. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen, son Robert, sister Betty June Gatten and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He will be most remembered for his undeniable spirit, his zest for life and his eagerness to enjoy each day without reservation. In the end Clyde just got tired. His spirit remained strong, but his body weakened, he died on April 8, 2013 in Loma Linda, California from congestive heart failure.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
