My prayers and sincere condolences to the family of Courtney Miller.
I met Courtney at Travis AFB, during the late 70s, early 80s. I have looked for information about him off and on for some years. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to find out that he had passed some years ago. My memories of Courtney include his love of life, friends, family and laughter. He was a mentor to me during my early Air Force career. I know that I have at least one picture of him from Travis , that I will try and upload later.  Courtney was a person that if you met him, you would never forget him. I'm feel  blessed that I knew him and that he was part of my life. I would appreciate contact from a family member or friend that knew him during his later years. I'm on Facebook as Steven Grays. I left my email on another site for his memories. I'm in Indiana and work 3rd shift.

Courtney was the first person to greet me when I started working at DCMA Fullerton five years ago. Every day he would come by to say hello and see if I needed anything.  The warmth and comradery found in Fullerton was in large part because of Courtney.  He will be sorely missed. Condolences to Courtney's family and loved ones.

Take hold of the memories you have made together and keep them close...  May the strength of FAITH, may the joy of HOPE, and may the warmth of LOVE bring you PEACE in your time of sorrow.  Good bye to the guy you could hear a mile away with his happy go lucky attitude.  I remember the day I improcessed you into the Gov't and you said hold on tight this is going to be a ride you will never forget.  You will be missed a bunch.

I would like to pass on my utmost sincere condolences to the entire Miller family and all his loved ones during their time of loss and grievance. Courtney's departure was certainly abrupt and unexpected. I was deeply saddened to hear the news of his untimely passing. I offer my heartfelt thoughts and sympathies to his family.

Through the pain and tragedy of your loss I have to say that I am fortunate to have been among the privileged few to have known Courtney. I considered him a mentor and colleague, but most importantly Courtney was my friend. He was the first employee I was introduced to in the foyer of the TRS facility in Fullerton on the morning of my first day of work with DCMA. I recall shaking Courtney's hand while he said, Mr. McNutt, nice to meet you. I'm here for whatever you need. All you have to do is ask. From that day forward Courtney took me under his wing. I quickly grew to appreciate Courtney and admire him so much. I am forever grateful for his support both professionally and personally. 

Courtney was always a joyful, compassionate soul full of laughter. Our office was a better place with him in it. All of us around Courtney became better people because of his presence and infectious personality. Courtney made our office feel like a family away from home. There was never a dull moment when Courtney was around. I am blessed to have known you and to have had you in my life both as a friend and a coworker. 

It has been said that "a person who departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds. Through us they will live on." I can say that you will always live on through me. Courtney, you may be gone, but you will never be forgotten my Brother.

Courtney was a consummate professional and DCMA indispensable partner.  His leadership as DCMA Program Integrator of the JPALS program always assured the program office had the insight they needed to make critical decisions.  I especially enjoyed celebrating the 2015 Christmas season with Courtney at our annual holiday luncheon.  His moves on the dance floor gave no indication that we would lose him in the next two weeks.  I was truly saddened when I heard the news.  I will truly miss Courtney.

Prayers of comfort to the family.

When I first started with DCMA, Courtney took the time to help me get acquainted with how things work in the office.   He was always so happy and told me he loved his job.   We shared 5 years working together and till the last time I saw him in the office, he enjoyed working and laughing with us in the office.   He is missed every day here.  May God give you all comfort and peace.  Courtney is still smiling from heaven on all of us.

Courtney Miller was a bright spot wherever he went.  His zest for life and upbeat attitude will be greatly missed. So will his "Friday shoes".  May God provide peace and comfort to his loved ones during this time.

Courtney and I worked together on the JPALS Program for the last several years.  He was always a true professional and a amazing family man. He truly was a compassionate and sincere person.
