He was a hard worker, at many times he held two jobs at once for long periods of times. He was always working to build a better future for his family. For his time as an employee for the Redlands unified school District his titles were bus aide and later he went on to become a paraprofessional. The connections with every student in each classroom that he had the opportunity to be a part of were nothing short of deep. He cared for his one-on-one students as if they were his own. Late 2016 he picked up his second job working at Amazon. He started at ONT2 where he worked his way up positions: seasonal employee, ambassador, then ICQA PA. After ONT2, he helped launch LGB8. He became the Dock PA. The dock was his zone and he ran it with integrity. His work spoke for itself. This year Daniel explored other departments and learned the entirety of the warehouse operations. Eventually he returned back to the dock because that’s where he felt the most utilized to make an impact worthwhile. Along the way he met many people. He was willing to give encouragement and work advice to those who asked for it. 2019 was also one of new beginnings. He began working part time at Dripmore. There he met his coworker Robert who lifted his spirits and encouraged him to apply for an inventory managers position. When he officially got the position it helped him realize that he could accomplish anything he put his mind to. Soon after, he built his Party Rental Business from the ground up. It was a success right off the bat which was something he was extremely proud of.
He also viewed his friends as his family for they were brothers to him. To give a little insight of who he was to these men I share a little from each of them.
His best friend since childhood David shares their memory on 1620 Clay Street where as children they would eat chips and watch wrestle mania together. Ironically their last moments together were spent as they would in their childhood days.
Samuel shares that Daniel was a man of many great roles. The role he played with him was like a brother. Daniel was his best friend but their friendship wasn’t just a friendship it was a bond that felt like brother hood. He was his brother.
Daniel & his Uce met playing football in high school. They’d make each other nearly cry laughing almost everyday at practice. That’s where it all began. He cannot remember a time not laughing around Daniel. Daniel had such a contagious laugh!
Daniel and Brandon were in the car listening to the radio and going to get lunch on national best friend day. Brandon remembers Daniel telling him if he ever told him he’s his best friend that he would slap him lol but Brandon knew what Daniel also knew and that is they were more than best friends and more like brothers. They would never say how close they were or how they appreciated each other and the love they had for one another. His brother’s gone, but he’ll never forget all the wonderful memories .
Although Daniel was always busy working his greatest joy of all wasn’t one that would be of monetary value. Instead it was one of family values because being the best Dada to his baby girl Abby and a true partner to his girlfriend were his main priority. He strived to make a life worth living for. He loved to entertain others, LAUGH, make jokes, and especially DANCE. Everyone would always joke that he must have been practicing in the mirror because his moves were just too good. Eating satisfying food (mainly sushi or carne asada fries), watching movies, and going to the beach with his two girls were his favorite pastimes. Daniel had an affinity for the peaceful oceans and clouds. He attracted people with the energy he put out. He was the greatest goofball of all time. His life is one worth remembering.
