Daniel Lynn Williams was born March 3, 1960 to Louella A. Hughes and Bill Cowsill. His mom remarried when Danny was two years old and Roger Leon Williams adopted him. Together they raised four boys, Danny, Roger, Willie and William.
Danny lived in Arizona a good part of his life, living in Tucson, Phoenix, and Black Canyon City. Danny first got married at a young age to Carolyn Edwards and had two children, Shannon and Danny. That is when he first joined Union in 1979 and has worked construction ever since.
Danny and Mary have been together since 1981 and were married on December 15, 1984. They have four children, Deanna, Christina, Danielle and Jason; Daughter-in-law, Olivia, Son-in-law, Dustin, and Sister-in-law Donna. Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren with many nieces and nephews.
Danny worked for many construction companies and had the opportunity to make good friends along the way. He’s worked in Phoenix, Truckee, Utah, and most importantly, California. At the time of Danny’s passing, he worked for Balfour Beatty Construction, Inc. Boy did he love this company and Kelly. He has a lot of friends within the company that he really became close to. He said one time, “Working for Kelly is like a bond he wouldn’t want to break because he made him feel like he belonged and was staying until he couldn’t work anymore!”
Danny loved his church. He and Mary have been attending CenterPoint for 17 years. He loved the Bible so much that he would get to work two hours before starting time so he could read his chapters and listen to music. Every Saturday and Sunday morning he would meet with a Men’s group he joined “The Brotherhood.” He was so excited for this group and where they were going and the people they wanted to reach.
Danny went to sleep Friday with plans of going to work and to his men’s group Saturday morning. Danny didn’t make it because God had other plans.
Danny is preceded in death by: his dad, Roger, mom Louella, granddaughter Brooke Lynn, Daughter Shannon, and Ex-wife, Carolynn.
The family is working with Karla’s Flowers, 909-219-9360, order by 11/4/25.
