David Flores, 60, of Highland, California, passed away on June 8, 2025. Born on April 23, 1965 in Orange County, he was a devoted husband to Patricia (Zummo) Flores and a loving father to David Jr., Chelsea, Julian, Dakota, and Hunter.
David was a charismatic, fun-loving, and hard-working man, who was dedicated to his family. He spent more than 25 years working transportation logistics, first as a commercial truck driver and then for the US Postal Service. He was known for his warm laughter and for getting the job done. While his strong work ethic kept him on the road, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Warm and welcoming, David was always the life of the party. An avid Raiders fan, David’s passions and interests helped define who he was. Besides being a member of Raiders Nation, he was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly baseball. He also loved all good music, especially classic rock and had a love for iconic cars, notably his personal Convertible Stingray Corvette. However, his biggest love was spending time with family. He made recent visits to his sons David and Julian, who live out of state, making memories they will cherish forever. He was kind, and had a larger than life personality, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; his children David Jr., Chelsea, Julian, Dakota, and Hunter; his grandchildren Serreniti, Eliana, David, Kassidy and Angelina; his siblings Belen, Adolfo, Phillip (Sonny), Delilah, and Tony; as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
A visitation for David will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E. Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Harvest Christian Fellowship, 6115 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. Flowers may be sent to Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E. Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
We find comfort in knowing that David's legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
