Denise M. Pasillas

Denise Marie Pasillas was born November 26, 1952 to Ralph and Margarite Bocanegra in the city of San Bernardino. The first of four children, Denise grew up to become a registered nurse, a career she would thrive at and retire from. She earned her degree from Chaffey College in 1982. She was married to Augustine Pasillas on July 10, 1976 and they remained together, in love, for 47 years. Denise was an avid traveler and went on many, many adventures with her family and beloved dogs. She cared for dozens of lucky pets in her life and was well loved by her canine children. She is survived by her husband, siblings, nieces and grand nephews. Denise returned to her heavenly father on January 7, 2024. We know and pray she is welcomed by her parents, grandparents and loving friends who have gone before her. Denise had an extensive career as a nurse that her and her family are very proud of. She held many positions during her career, helping thousands of patients. She worked for Kaiser for 9 years and San Bernardino County for 22 years. In her last role before retirement, she served as the medical advice nurse at San Bernardino County Arrowhead Medical Center.
