IN  MEMORY OF OUR DINORA, DINORA GREW UP ON "LEAGUE ST." WITH OUR CHILDREN. SO THRU THE YR.S  SHE WAS  THOUGHT OF AS A BIG SISTER BY OUR KIDS, AND LOVED BY US AS ANOTHER "ADOPTED " DAUGHTER. THROUGHOUT THE YEARS SHE BECAME OUR FRIEND, AND HONORED US TO BECOME 
GODPARENTS  TO HER TWO  CHILDREN, CRYSTAL / ADRIAN. SHE ALWAYS BROUGHT LOVE, LAUGHTER, AND HAPPINESS, WHEN SHE CAME TO OUR HOME FOR FAMILY GATHERINGS! DINORA WILL BE MISSED DEARLY FOR THE "BEAUTIFUL SOUL"  SHE WAS, AND FOR THE LOVE SHE GAVE FREELY! WE WERE BLESSED TO HAVE HER IN OUR LIVES! REST IN PEACE OUR DAUGHTER. I was beyond Blessed to meet such an amazing strong loving soul like you . Thank you for opening your heart and your doors to me , You were always willing to lend a hand , offer a shoulder to cry on no matter what you were going through.  You’re the strongest person I know, you’ve gone through so much and still continue to be the light of everyones day,  You will be missed beyond compare .. until we meet again grandma ,  I love you forever and always 🤍. All people die but not all people live. Dinora lived! She packed so much life into her 61 years. She fell in love(Jim Lodge), mended broken hearts (grandchildren) and still put one foot in front of the other battling what she knew from the start was an incurable disease. She did so with grace, dignity, integrity and courage.

Finding herself lost she turned to Jesus Christ and asked to be forgiven. She told him that she repented of her sins and to come into her heart to be her Lord And Savior.

Farewell to my beautiful Dinora. We will see each other in the company of God. Te amo mucho Dinora. Que Dios te guíe y te acompañe. 


I've been really avoiding doing this still in unbelief that you're gone but I can't be mad or sad I know you went home to be with our father and you're not in pain no more it's hard for me to hold back any tears I miss you Mom I miss  are 3:00 am phone calls  and are conversations I miss you so much you are truly missed I love you Mom

The reality of you being gone is hard to grasp but knowing that you are no longer in pain is comforting. I am thankful for the times that we did have together and the memories you made for my kids. Jr remembers always being your Champ, Mia remembers you getting her more corn on the cob because I told her to wait, and Johnny remembers the bag of goodies you gave him. We will miss you.  We love you auntie. 

It’s hard to believe that you’re not here with us anymore, but I am grateful for the time we did have together.  I’m glad my girls got spend time with you and have memories of their own.  We will remember you often, especially when we have cookies or hear “Shine bright like a Diamond”.  I love you Auntie, we will miss you forever. 

I miss my big sister Dinora, she would call early in the mornings and we would talk for hours. She always worried about me. Just like her children/grandkids. But now she not in pain anymore. RIP babe!


I miss my grandma greatly but I know she’s not in pain anymore. I’ll miss her taking me out to eat and is just going to the store and shopping. I’ll miss her laugh and her jokes. My little old lady. Love, Eleasah 

To my beautiful, caring, wonderful, crazy sister.  Oh how I miss you and our talks. I miss you so much it hurts.  I think of you often and I start to cry.  I'm glad you are not in pain anymore and your resting in peace in the house of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  
 I will always cherish our memories and childhood pranks.  You were a great sister and friend and I will miss you always.
