Dolores Cuevas

Dolores was born in Mexicali, Mexico to Leopoldo and Amparo Ramirez on March 27, 1947. She started her career helping those in need as a teachers assistant with the Los Angles Unified School District, went on to retire from the lighting industry and returned to helping those in need in her community. Dolores was an active member of her local church group and enjoyed knitting with her sisters, reading, antiquing, crafting, traveling and spending time with her family. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Dolores during her 70 years, among them: be adventurous, courageous, giving and humble.

Dolores is preceded in death by her father, Leopoldo. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Amparo; her sisters and brothers Carmen, Polo (Pita), Maria Elena, Freddy (Angie), Jose Luis, Toni (Alfredo), Letty (Frank), Martha, Cisco (Sandra), Felipe, Alex, Carol, Laura and Sandy; her three daughters Lupe, Liz (Rick), and Vanessa (Mario); her four precious grandchildren Christopher, Caitlin, Natalia and Ricky. Dolores will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

A Mass will be celebrated in memory of Dolores on Friday, July 14, 2017, at 2:00 pm at All Souls Chapel, Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, internment will follow at 3:00 pm.
