Dolores N. Romero

Dolores Negrete Romero was born on March 18, 1932 in Riverside CA to her parents Pedro Negrete and Eulalia Flores Negrete. She grew up in the town of Casa Blanca. She later married the love of her life Tony Romero (Big T)

In time she moved with her family and resided in Grand Terrace CA where she passed in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Dolores was an amazing woman with a heart of gold always opening up her home to all. She was a housewife who not only tended to her own, but to many others as well. She enjoyed spending time with her family as family was her world.

God has gained another angel, may her family and friends receive comfort in knowing that their Angel is now resting in her home of peace and paradise. Dolores will forever be remembered by the beautiful memories that she forever placed in everyone’s hearts.

Our Angel, Dolores (Lola) Romero is survived by her Daughter, Delia Romero, her son Tony Romero Jr (Cooks) along with her daughter in Law Cathy Romero., her Son Robert Romero, three Grandchildren, Louie Romero, Nicholas Romero and Tony Romero the 3rd. She is also survived by her great grand children. Louie Valdez Romero, Alizay Delia Romero and Leonidas Antonio Romero. She is also survived by her Sister, Stella Negrete Gonzalez along with many nephews and nieces whom she adored.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parent’s, her Dad Pedro Negrete. Her mother Eulalia Flores Negrete, the love of her life, Tony Mendoza Romero also known as ( Big T), sister, Rita Negrete Castro, brother Joey Negrete (The Dupreem), brother Louie Negrete also a band member of the Dupreem’s and brother Manuel Negrete.

Dolores will be laid to rest on Monday August 31, 2015. The memorial will take place at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary from 12.00 noon to 2:00 pm with a reception to follow. Directions to the reception will be provided at the memorial services and all are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Dolores N Romero.
