Don Lewis Wiley, 87, passed away in Riverside on August 31 of complications from cancer. Born and raised in Brookfield, Missouri, he lived in Riverside for 57 years. He worked in aerospace, at Boeing (Missouri), Lockheed (Palmdale), and Rohr (Riverside) from which he retired in 1998.
He served for 2 years in the U.S. Army, spending most of his time in Germany.
Don is predeceased by his wife Joan, his mother Frances Wiley, father Howard Wiley, and sister Marsha Baird.
He is survived by longtime friends Terry, Claude, and many other friends he made throughout the years.
Don was an avid collector of antique tractors and engines, along with other hobbies and collections. He was a truly remarkable man.
A funeral service for Don will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, in the Cypress Chapel. Burial to follow at 11:30 AM.
