Gonna share another funny memory. . . 
One time when Wayne was living in corona, he would part his truck and my mom and dad’s house on Davis St. while he worked and Aunt Donna and Uncle Lloyd came over and she had a bag full of Kotex pads. She put those Kotex pads all over he front windshield, covered the whole thing. . . Kotex’s everywhere!!! It was the funniest thing every. Wayne came home and there his truck was, parked on the street, in front of the house, covered in Kotex pads! Wayne was like “Aunt Donna!!” 

Where do I even start.... My precious aunt Donna. I have so many great memories of you. Im so thankful for our time together in September. It may have been short but I will cherish that day forever. That day Sabrynna feel and hurt herself and you being the amamzing person you are told her to Come to you, and of course she did and you instantly cheered her up and had her laughing and all was better. I also remember when it was time to go grandma said she was ready, so I helped walk you to the car and put your seat belt on for you it was then we realized grandma wasn’t behind us anymore. You said, gotta love my sister, but I walked my old ass over here and she is still over there talking.... haha we both just laughed. You always could make us laugh. I’m truly going to miss those jokes and that smile you always had on your face. You will never be forgotten that’s for sure.


Aunt Donna was surely the life of the party, the family jokester and a heart so full to love all of her nieces and nephews equally. So many memories I have of her growing. On many Veik Christmas gathering at her house and I was there she always had me a lifesaver book wrapped for me to open so I wouldn't feel left out. The time i traveled with them to the family reunion in Texas when I was probably 11 or 12. Loved how when she made you something to eat she had to have the first bite as she would say "make sure it was good enough for us to eat".  She will be missed but her zest for life and our memories will never die!! 

Donna, my loving sister, my friend..........I have so many good memories, us going to Vegas, playing bingo, going to breakfast every week with you and Lloyd, weekly lunches, and family gatherings.  You were always the life of the crowd, laughing, joking, always keeping everyone in stitches!  I remember when you were four years old, you loved to tell everyone jokes.  Your nickname was  Dink for years.  Although you are gone, you will never be forgotten.  You will always be close in my heart with Sandi.




Besides my mom, I’m pretty sure the first time I ever heard a woman break wind it was aunt Donna. 
I remember being very young and in the car on a bumpy dirt road and she was singing a bumpty bumpty bump bump bump song. 
To many good memories to list. 

I remember when I was younger and I would go spend the night at Donna and Pops. We would go get pizza, come back and watch the lakers game, and then Donna would read to me and scratch me until I fell asleep in her lap. I really enjoyed staying with them every summer and sometimes on the weekends. Donna never complained about playing food with me, buying me tea sets for our extravagant parties, or me tagging along with her to yard sales. One thing I’ll never forget is making swearing contracts for her and Pop. I made them recite an oath, sign the paper, and had a witness sign. Donna always got a kick out of me lecturing them for swearing. Although I will miss her dearly, she’s with Pop now and they are with us always, no matter what. 

This is difficult.  I couldn't have asked for anything more in in-laws.  People tell their horror stories of theirs and I have never been able to relate.  Donna has always treated her daughter-in-laws like the daughters she never had.  I will miss her jokster personality which she had until the end.  She cared for her children and grandchildren with everything she had.  We will miss her tremendously but now she has been reunited with our loving Pop.

How do I leave a message about a sister that was such a huge part of my life? I dont know how....I know Donna always has had a special place in my heart. Someone to go shopping and lunch with...every Monday, with Sandi and me. Then later times, Las Vegas, basketball games, visiting me in Oklahoma...and letting me and Mel be hers and Lloyd’s neighbor. If she was ever angry with me, she never let it show.......I could go on and on and on, but I could never tell all that my precious sister means to me....she will be forever in my heart...until I join her, Lloyd, and Mel at our final resting places.

When I was about 10 I spent the night at grandmas in Corona. At that time Donna worked in Riverside at the phone company. I was on the phone making prank phone calls when somehow I got the operator. Scared me so bad. I was ready to hang up. When I hear “Booper is that you? “ I was shocked but meekly said yes. It was Donna. She said  “you get off granny’s phone and quit messing around”. She never told on me but every chance she got she would whisper in my ear and say “make any phone calls lately?” Then she would laugh that great laugh of hers. By the way she was the first one to start calling me booper. I gave up on resisting it because before you know it everyone called me booper. I loved her dearly. 

I have so many wonderful memories, I remember sitting around moms table when they lived on Davis St. in Corona, and Aunt Donna and Uncle Lloyd stopped by,  we sat around the kitchen table and Aunt Donna was making prank phone calls. I never laughed so hard. She was so funny and so serious when she would call these random phone numbers.
Aunt Donna loved all kids. When we moved in next door to them on Tolouse Ave. she nicknamed Kori- kori madori and Dayna was  dayna   banayna. They loved there nicknames too! 
We will miss you!!!

Where do I begin.... Donna was good to me. They both were. She was my companion when I was lonely, she was my taco partner. Lol. There was always a joke on the tip of her tongue and she was always ready for a gag. She loved my kids to no end. I could not have finished school without her help picking up Mom duties. She will be missed tremendously!
