My dearest one you may be physically with these moments and in days past but you are clearly in my heart and I have that firm faith in God's promise that we shall be together again for eternity on that day of Jesus return, oh what a day of gladness that will be. All praises and glory and honor to God and  Saviour. Amen.

I have been thinking about you lately. I miss all of the times that you visited us in Las Vegas. I miss the times we had in California as well. Dad was always excited to see you and Opa. I know that you are with God up in Heaven right now and looking down on us. I miss you, Oma. Love you always.

Though you have gone for you are now resting beautifully in God's arms of love we remember your sweet memories indelibly etched in our hearts which rekindles our blessed hope of our reunion with our gracious loving Heavenly Father.
Our love for you gets even better and and stronger each passing day on this earth. We long for our getting together soon with our beloved Saviour and other beloved ones. Good bye for now but not for ever my dear one.

We did not hear of Edna's passing until we informed Wen of our mom's death (on the 7th of Feb.) My friend from nursing school who was a missionary's kid was @ the funeral and I told her of Edna's death. When we were in school, Char (Edstrom) was in Kenya visiting her parents, remembered me talking of Wen and Edna serving in Kenya and stopped in to meet them both. Hence, she met them prior to any of my siblings meeting them!  Love and condolences from the Delfun family.

You have lived a long and adventurous life. You were an inspiration to all your friends and family. CJ, Alexia, and I miss you so much. I am glad they had a chance to spend much time with you in Curacao and in California. You will always be in our prayers, and in our lives. We love you so much.

Edna dear you are the inspiration in my life. You gave me the strength  to tackle whatever challenge we encountered in life which made me sure that you were the one God gave me to be my help mate in this journey we shared together on this earth. it was very rewarding to me and happy were those times accumulating into hours,days to months and years until they added up to more than sixty one years of golden memories that seems like but yesterday. I Thank God for who you were, an everlasting joy of life, a great gift from God and a wonderful  blessing to me and my children and grand and great g children. WE WILL MISS YOU IMMENSLY

My grandmother lived a great, adventurous life, traveled the world as a doctor in service of people, and saw her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow. She passed away last week, and will definitely be missed, but she had an amazing experience, and I see that as something to be celebrated rather than mourned.

She was one of the few in my family that understood me.. when I would murmur something or make a remark, which was ignored or not heard, she would always laugh or make a witty response.. letting me know that I wasn't crazy or alone, that someone got me.

Any talent that I might have in the arts is from her, she had artistic talent, but only pursued it as a hobby.. so I am forever thankful that I happened to get that trait. Not only that, but she actually encouraged me to paint, and bought me a set. She was a tough critic of my work too, always pushing me to do better, rather than praising everything I did.. for that I am thankful.
I can only strive to have a life as fulfilling as she had. We love you and miss you, Oma.

Even though the times i have spent with you and your family was short and long ago, i still remember them as very pleasant and joyful times. My sincere deep condolences to the family

Our sympathy and condolences on Ate Edna's demise.  We celebrate her life amidst the bereavement of the the families represented on both sides.  Our God will wipe away all tears!  That's His promise.
