Edward Allen Stater

Edward had been undergoing treatment for prostate cancer. He entered the hospital on Sept 8 with complications and, per his wishes, came home to pass in peace surrounded by family on September 18.

A celebration of life is planned for Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.

Our dad worked hard his whole life to be able to retire, leave the suits behind and live life as comfortably as possible. He wasn’t fancy. He lived in Harley t-shirts and aloha shirts. We ask that you also bring this spirit to his celebration and come comfortable.

Following the funeral service will be a committal service which will be held with immediate family only.

There will also be a reception after the service. Details for that will be provided the day of the celebration.

We so appreciate the messages and support that we have received so far. We loved our dad and feel so blessed that so many others did as well.
