Eliazar Jáquez Ortega

Eliazar Jáquez Ortega nació el 15 de julio de 1956, nació en una pequeña ciudad en Madera Chihuahua México. El pueblo es un lugar hermoso para crecer. Los nombre de su padres son Esperanza Ortega y Manuel Jáquez; él provenía de una familia de once, incluiendo a él y sus padres. Los nombres de los hermanos son Yolanda, Maggie, Humberto, Norma, Cesar, Noelia y Jorge.

A la edad de 18 años comenzó a trabajar como mecánico y soldador. Su abuelo y su tío eran mecánicos, soldadores y tenían un taller de reparaciones donde aprendió a reparar autos. Obtuvo un chasis de un Volkswagen que le puso ruedas y un motor creando una Tartana. El se hiba hasta la Junta, Chihuahua en su Tartanita.

En sus 20 años tenía el cabello largo y ondulado de color castaño con ojos azul verdosos, con los que llamo la atención de una hermosa joven llamada Carmen Garcia Ham. Salieron y poco después se mudaron a California y tuvieron 5 hijos maravillosos sus nombres son Walter, Eliazar, Lizbeth, Freddy y Cesar.

Desde sus 30 años y hasta mediados de los 50, trabajó duro para apoyar a su esposa y sus hijos comprando una casa en San Bernardino. Trabajaba desde su casa arreglando autos e iría donde fuera necesario para reparar autos. En los fines de semana hacía carne asadas y ponía música. Amaba su música, algunos grupos por nombrar eran Ramon Ayala, Los Tigres del Norte, Sonora Dinamita y Los Freddy's. Tenía una forma única de bailar que sacudía su cadera como si no hubiera mañana.

A los 58 años de edad, tuvo un derrame cerebral en el lado derecho que afectó su movilidad del lado izquierdo que lo dejó en la cama y no podía hablar con claridad. Estuvo en un centro de rehabilitación durante tres años. El terapeuta le dio terapia para ver si se podía recuperar algo de su movilidad para volver a caminar, pero con todo ese esfuerzo no sucedio se deprimia y siempre lloraba.

El 10 de febrero de 2018, Carmen su esposa se retiró del trabajo, lo sacó del Centro de Rehabilitación, lo llevó a su casa y lo cuidó. Estaba muy feliz siempre riendose de bromas y sonriendo con toda la familia y era feliz de estar de vuelta en casa.

El 27 de noviembre de 2018 a los 62 años de edad,fue llevado al hospital, no estaba actuando como lo hacía normalmente, no estaba respondiendo a nada. Después de muchas pruebas, descubrieron que tenía una hemorragia cerebral y que necesitaba una cirugía de emergencia para aliviar toda esa presión. En el Hospital Arrowhead se realizó la cirugía, salio de la cirugía en estado crítico. La presión de su corazón y los niveles de glucosa eran inestables, su cuerpo no retenía agua, se colocó en estado critico.

El 28 de noviembre de 2018, el médico reunió a la familia para comunicarnos que fue declarado con muerte cerebral y que no se puede hacer nada más. El doctor dijo que no sufrió cuando tuvo la hemorragia cerebral.

Una cosa que siempre recordaré es su risa única que pudieras distinguirla en una habitación llena de gente. Fue un amoroso esposo, padre, abuelo y hermano. Era una persona sentimental que estaba llena de vida. Será extrañado y nunca olvidado .

LIFE STORY

Eliazar Jáquez Ortega was born in July 15, 1956 he was born in a small town in Madera Chihuahua Mexico. The town was a beautiful place to be raised in. His mother's name is Esperanza Ortega and his father's name is Manuel Jáquez he came from a family of eleven including himself and parents. The siblings names are Yolanda, Maggie, Humberto, Norma, Cesar, Noelia and Jorge.

At the age of 18 years he started working as a mechanic and welder. His grandfather and uncle's were mechanics, welders and had a repair shop, where he learned to fix cars. He got a frame from a Volkswagen put wheels and an engine making a go kart. He would go to Junta, Chihuahua in his go kart that was named Tartanita.

In his 20's he had shoulder length wavy brown hair with blueish green eyes, that got the attention of a beautiful young woman named Carmen Garcia Ham. They dated and soon after they moved to California and had 5 wonderful children named Walter, Eliazar, Lizbeth, Freddy and Cesar.

In his 30's all the way to his mid 50's he worked hard to support his wife and kids and together they bought a house in San Bernardino. He would work from home fixing cars and go where ever he was needed to repair cars. In the weekend's he would do BBQ's and put music. He loved his music some to name a few were Ramon Ayala, Los Tigres del Norte, Los Freddys and La Sonora Dinamita. he had a unique way of dancing he would shake his hips like there was no tomorrow.

At 58 years of age he had a stroke on the right side that affected his left side mobility that left him bed bounded and could not talk clearly. He was in a Rehabilitation Center for three years. The therapist gave him therapy to see if some mobility can be restored to see if he could walk but even with all that effort he put in, it didn't get a accomplished, he would get depressed and always cry.

On February 10, 2018 Carmen Jaquez retired from work and took him out of the Rehabilitation Center and took him home to take care of him. He was very happy always laughing at jokes and smiling with all the family and happy to be back home.

On November 27, 2018 at 62 years of age he was rushed to the hospital he was not acting his normal self he was not responding to nothing, after many tests they found out that he had a brain hemorrhage and needed emergency surgery to relieve all that pressure. He had surgery at Arrowhead Hospital. After his surgery he came out in critical condition. His heart pressure and glucose levels where unstable, his body was not retaining any fluids, he was placed in ICU.

On November 28, 2018 the doctor got the family together to inform us he was pronounced brain dead, and that nothing else can be done. The Doctor said he did not suffer when he had the brain hemorrhage he just went into a deep sleep.

One thing I will always remember is his unique laugh, you could distinguish it in a room full of people. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a sentimental person that was full of life. He will be missed and never forgotten.
