Many, many years ago growing up in West Seneca, Betty was like my big sister and her brother Joe was like a brother to me.  When Uncle Ed and the family moved to California in the '50's we all lost track of each other.  I am so grateful we were able to reconnect several years ago and that I was able to visit everyone out in California.  My prayers for Bob and Betty's daughter Diane.

Dear Betty, Debbie and I have always loved the many wonderful times we shared with you and Bob.  We have been saddened by the news.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Betty, you were there as a second mama for me in my formative years as my family was facing hard times.  I loved spending time with you, Nana, and Diane at the Lower Hastings house.  You were always so calm, accepting and kind.  I will miss your bright spirit on the planet...until we meet again....Erin

Betty, you were a good neighbor and we will miss you. Our prayers now are for Bob and the family members and friends that are left behind that loved you over the years. We will honor your memory by supporting pet adoption agencies. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1"

My dear, dear friend....how I miss you.  You were my confidant for years and now I find myself wanting to share things with you and am struck with the stark realization that you're not on the other end of my e-mail.  I miss you so much and just cannot believe you're gone.  I hope you're with all your beloved fur babies on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Betty, I wish we had got to know you better after our initial Holiday gathering on Chimney Rock especially after we found out that you had a passion for animals which tells us a lot about a person.  RIP and you are now free to run with all of the four legged friends that you have helped over the years.

My Dearest Betty, You are the love of my life and will always be until we meet again in Heaven. I always thought I was blessed by being your husband; your strength, love and tenderness were far greater than I deserved. My sadness and loneliness are great. But you are in God's loving hands now with his love and serenity.

Mom I miss you more than you will ever know. You have shaped my life, taught me to be strong and carry on. We will always be connected, even in death, as we were in life. I love you mom.
