Elsa Ylaya Rodrigo, 86, passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Elsa was born on November 3, 1936, in Cebu City, Philippines. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be sorely missed but those she has left behind look forward to seeing her again on the resurrection morning.
She is survived by her husband Hermie Rodrigo; her four children Cecille Rodrigo Fisher, Charlie Rodrigo, Rowena Rodrigo Matthews, and Sylvia Rodrigo Young; her grandchildren, Justine, Jeremie, Jacob, Lianne, Jaimee, Jasmine, Quincy, Sean, and Peter; and her sisters, Rose and Lucy.
Viewing for Elsa will be at 9:00am and a service at 10:00am both on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Montecito, Cypress Chapel, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, California. She will be laid to rest thereafter at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, California.
Family extends an invitation to the reception after the services at the Cypress Hospitality Room in the same building where the services took place.
