Mom, I am absolutely lost and confused. I have never been without you and I don’t know what to do with myself right now. Everything was always centered around you and now we just have this giant void in our family. I know you always said you couldn’t wait to get to heaven because you knew what was waiting for you. It gives me some comfort to know that you are finally with baby Isaac and with my Nana. I’m also glad you are no longer in pain, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Jen Jizelle Iris and I miss you like crazy. 
Thank you for always taking care of us and for being the best Grama ever. Thank you for showing us how to be strong women and putting our all into everything that we do.

Tu siempre fuiste mi protectora- mi maestra, y mi mejor confidante. Sobre todo eres mi reina- mi Mamá. Siempre confié en ti con todos mis problemas y todos mis sueños. Y tu nunca me dijiste que no podía, no lease que tontería quería intentar. “Tu puedes hacerlo, como ch----dos que no!” Eso me decías. Cuando llegaba bien perdido y desilusionado, tu sabias como levantarme. Pensé yo que siempre te tendría aquí para cuando te necesitará. Ama, y ahora que voy hacer sin ti???? Mom me chipiliastes de más y hoy como le voy hacer, mi reina?? Estoy perdido de verdad, Ama. El mundo está tan vacío y tan frío. Lo único que me consuela es que ya no estas sufriendo mas. Yo se que estas con tu Mami, mi Nana Angelina, mi hermano Isaac, y toda tu familia que ya estaban allá esperando. Ya estás joven, sana y libre para caminar, correr, brincar y bailar como te encantaba aquí en este mundo. Me imagino todo tan bonito allá donde estas. Me recuerdo cuando llegabas a la casa de mi Nana y me abrazabas tan fuerte con un besote... Esos cual solo tu sabias dar. ♡ Siempre se reía de mis ideas y me apoyaba diciendo que cuando creciera - yo seria alta, fuerte y luchona- así como tu ♡  Un ejemplo que bien pusiste... La que me enseñaba los bailes en español... Siempre eras la alegría de la fiesta... En cada cumpleaños, día festivo, y ocasión especial, rápidamente estabas ahí. Tus comidas especiales, cuando compartíamos días juntas con mi Nana. Y cuando el tema de ser madre llego... Fue por ti. Es como si tu ya tenias tu plan, fuiste tan importante para mi en cada parte de mi vida. Me encantaba como alzabas tu cara cada que hablabas de tus hijos, nietos o cada que te decía que importante eras para nosotros. You were so proud y me enseñaste la fuerza que una mujer es de ser. Cuando nos decías que yo era hija tuya y no de mi mom... Como no las curabamos cuando hacías travesuras... I loved your laugh de traviesa - I miss it so much... always busting out laughing... Siempre hablabas tan bonito de tus nieces, nephews y Godchildren... Tenias algo especial para todos... I appreciate it all... Estoy tan agradecida por tu ejemplo y por contribuir en quien soy hoy - siempre dijiste que veniamos de mujeres fuertes... Para ser más fuerte. Y así será.

My Tia Elvira, always gave the best Birthday/ Christmas presents ever!! I loved coming over and laying down in her room watching Novela’s while we drank ice cold water bottles out of her mini fridge and talked about secrets and Ghost stories all night long while cuddling in her leopard blankets.. She always made me laugh and made me feel safe with how strong her presence was. We would lay together with Grandma Angelina on her bed and we talked about all the hilarious stories from her childhood.. About 2 months ago, I got to hug and kiss her before I left town... Got the chance to be with you In Newport, while laughing at my ridiculous jokes..  We were at beach staring at multimillionaire homes while eating French fries together.. I’m so heartbroken that I wasn’t able to cherish you one last moment.. God bless you and I love you tia Elvira.. Thank you for being an amazing aunt and god mother to my niece and nephew. We love you!!!

Siempre que la recuerdo a usted,  salen a la luz imágenes de una mujer alta, fuerte y amorosa que demostraba cualidades ejemplares y heroicas, siempre dispuesta a enfrentar cualquier situación que se le presentará en la vida a usted y la familia.

Siempre estuviste allí para todos los que te necesitaban, en cualquier momento y sin importar la situación. Cuándo más te necesitábamos, estabas allí. Para proporcionar su ayuda o fuerza para cualquiera que la necesitará. Nuestro pilar familiar más valioso, te lo agradezco y nunca lo olvidaré.

Siempre has jugado un papel muy importante en la vida de mi familia, la mejor madrina que Dios podría haber elegido para mis hijos. Tuvieron mucha suerte, ya que solo han tenido cuatro mujeres muy importantes en sus vidas, gracias por ser una de ellas. Las palabras que usan para hablar de ti, solo prueban que has dejado un maravilloso legado para que continúen. Dicen que te harán sentir muy orgullosa.

Tia Elvira, You were always happy to see me and always accepted me with open arms even tho I was a hyper annoying kid. Thank you for always giving me love and respect. You were a beautiful, smart, funny, strong, independent, loving woman and I looked up to you. You held a whole company and entire family including friends on your back. I know my grandma is proud just like we all are, hurts to see you go tia, it really does! There’s a pain in my heart that can only be filled with the love you showed me and even then it’s still broken. Rest In Peace tia! I love you and I will always miss you!

You have always played a very important role in  my families life, the best Godmother that God could have ever chosen for my children.
