Emily Jean Singleton, age 71, of Colton, went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2015. She was born in Los Angeles on August 22, 1943, attended Redlands Jr High, and Redlands High, graduated from Beaumont High School in 1961, and attended Valley College. She worked as a stenographer and typist for a minister, and played the piano and organ. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Cagle of Redlands; three nephews, Greg Cagle and wife Kathy of Murrieta, Joe Cagle of Yucaipa, and Donny and wife Kelley Cagle of Yucaipa; five great nieces: Lauren, Jenna, Katelyn, Brittany, and Jorie; two great nephews Bobby and his wife Kayla, and Brennan; and one great great niece, Summer Anne, and one great great nephew, Brayden Lee, along with many cousins, and friends. Graveside services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park on Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m.
