Eric Chandler Horton

July 21, 1951 – September 23, 2020

Eric was born on July 21,1951 to James and Adella Horton in Chattanooga, Tennessee .

Eric grew up in Compton California He attended Compton Unified District Schools.

He attended Birch Elementary, Enterprise junior High School and graduated from Compton High School In 1969 He also attended Compton College.

Eric worked a number of different jobs including at a Steel refinery, and a warehouseman at Target Distribution center. Eric also enjoyed dabbling and investing in the stock market.

He also worked in the Aerospace Industry for many years. Eric retired as a Realtor.

Eric was preceded in death by Mother and father James and Adella Horton, his sisters Malikah Saleem and Janetta Horton and nephew Elijah Saleem .

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories Nephew Malik Saleem Jr. Neice Mahasin Hicks, niece Karimah Saleem, nephew Mohammed Saleem and a host of great nieces and nephews and cousins.

He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
