Erik Rashad Bond, born to Judi Kim Aguilar and Wilbert Bond. Erik walked among us as a beacon of joy and brotherhood, was gently called to the Lord's side on April 15, 2024, at the tender age of 26. Born on June 18, 1997, at Loma Linda Hospital, Erik's life was a testament to the grace and beauty inherent in every day. He leaves behind a son Benjamin Rico Bond and Roxanne Gonzalez who loved him dearly and her son Moses.
With a heart full of humility, Erik embraced the joys of life, finding fellowship and purpose in the sports of basketball, baseball and football. His leisure hours spent in the realm of video games reflected a grateful spirit for the simple pleasures bestowed upon us.
Erik's soul, now in the loving embrace of our Creator, leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. He has a total of 10 siblings. He is survived by his devoted siblings sisters, Jennifer Babcock Hannah and Alyssa Guzman; his steadfast brothers, Ezra William Bond, Joseph Coontz, and Alfonso Guzman; and his cherished nephews, Giovanni and William Babcock Hannah, along with nieces, Emma Joseph Coontz and Heidi Martinez. Educated at Colton High School, Erik's path was one of learning and growth, embodying the virtues of respect for the wisdom passed down through generations.
The family invites loved ones to gather in a service of remembrance, celebrating a life lived with gratitude and respect for all of creation. This solemn tribute will take place on May 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E. Washington St. Colton, CA 92324, an establishment that has been entrusted with the sacred duty.
