Estrella “Betsy” Matar, age 74, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, in Redlands, CA. She was born on February 21, 1948, in the Philippines to Mauro and Diosa Arevalo. She is survived by her three daughters Jeannette, Stella, and Jehan, her three sons in law Paul, Ray, & Michael, her 5 grandchildren Aaron, Victoria, Nicholas, Savannah, and Colin, her 4 sisters Yolly, Lillia, Ceres, Olga, & brother Boy. She also leaves behind many lifelong friends. Everyone who knew her knows how much she loved her family, friends, life, and the Lord. She was a faithful servant of God, and she knew she had been blessed with extra time. While her health diminished, she took comfort knowing her faith was strong and her family was always by her side. Her laughter and presence will be missed by all. Until we meet again…we will take comfort in knowing she is resting with her beloved husband Tawfiq. We love you, Mom.
