Eyvette Gonzales, born in Colton , passed away after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. She faced every challenge with strength, resilience, and an unwavering spirit, earning the title of a true warrior in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Eyvette was a vibrant, outgoing soul who lived life with passion and purpose. She was deeply family-oriented and fiercely protective of those she loved. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family, especially her nieces and nephews, who could always bring out her laughter and brighten her day. She had a special love for animals and cherished her beloved pets, her cats Raja and Luna, and her dogs Tank and Peanut.
She found peace and happiness in the beauty of the outdoors. Whether she was near the ocean, hiking, visiting the creek, or simply enjoying nature, Eyvette felt most alive under the open sky. She also loved to dance, draw, play video games, and spend time at the shooting range. Her personality was full of life, always paired with a thoughtful plan—she approached everything with intention and determination. One of her lifelong dreams was to own her own ranch, a vision she held close to her heart.
Eyvette’s proudest accomplishments were not measured in material things, but in the strength she showed throughout her life. She fought cancer bravely for five years, never losing her smile even in her toughest moments. Another of her most cherished memories was witnessing the ultrasounds of all her nieces and nephews, moments that filled her with pride and joy.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and authenticity. Eyvette taught those around her to be outspoken, to care deeply, and to always stand up for and protect family. Her words, “Hey, you don’t say that,” will forever echo in the memories of those who knew her, a reflection of her bold and loving spirit.
Eyvette is survived by her loving partner, Maria Villa Gomez; her mother, Jessica; and her father, Martin. She is also survived by her nine siblings: Tina, Irene, Melissa, Raylene, Mariah, Peter, Joseph, Junior, and Vanessa. She was deeply loved by her grandparents—Roberta and Martin on her father’s side, and Linda and Francisco, lovingly known as Papa, on her mother’s side.
She found joy in music, especially songs by Tupac, including “Lord Knows” and “Dear Mama,” and enjoyed watching movies like Guardians of the Galaxy. Her favorite colors, green and gold, reflected her vibrant and strong spirit.
Eyvette Gonzales will be remembered as a strong fighter, a loving soul, and a woman who carried light even in her darkest moments. Her smile, her laughter, and her fierce love for her family will never be forgotten.
Forever in our hearts, always remembered, and deeply missed.
