When you are born into this world, the process takes two people. A mother and a father. My father is being laid to rest, as he peacefully passed away, but before he passed away he left a legendary legacy. As a father you have certain rights and obligations and as long as I can remember, my father fulfilled those obligations as he laid a very strong foundation. The foundation is needed so you can always have something to stand on. R E S P E C T. Was the start of this foundation. As some of you may know, respect is a big part of the Nigerian culture. At a very young age, I learned this the hard way, but I would not have it any other way. Respecting GOD was always first. Every morning, we would wake up and pray, the whole family & that’s how we started our day every morning. We were definitely taught to respect our Mother and Father, there was never any questions about that. Lastly, we were taught to respect our elders.

I learnt that a big smile doesn’t always say am fine. Am glad to know you as one of the strongest people in my life, you’ve leaved a fulfilled life and impacted your act of kindness and love in your kids which is what am benefiting from right now. Thanks you so much for being a man of respect and the light to many peoples stardom and glory. You will forever be in my heart Uncle. Rest In Peace. 

One of the peculiarities of we human beings is, we always do not fully appreciate what we have until it is lost. A good friend, a trusted partner, a loving and dependable parent; we seldom appreciate their worth until they are away from us. Such is our dear friend and brother - a loving and dependable father and grand father - a family Patriarch. Rest in perfect peace and may the Almighty God lead, protect and guide the steps of those you leave behind.

May your soul Rest In Peace . You were a kind and gentle man. We will miss you!

Our condolences to the entire Olatunji family for the loss of Baba Damilola. Our Nigerian community had lost a rare gem, humble, down to earth man; a friend and a good man. He will be greatly missed. I  remembered on several occasions whenever there were parties, he would ask that as long as my husband Leke is going/present it is alright with him; because they both love to wear their suits. Laugh!! No matter what! May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace till we meet to part no more. Good night!
