Filiberta Guiza, 93 years old of Riverside, California, passed away on July 11, 2017, at her home. She was born on August 22, 1923, in Michoacán, Mexico, to Juan and Martha Ruiz. She is survived by her children, Eduardo Guiza, Salvador Guiza, Teresa Aguila, Yolanda Ramos, Martha Guiza, Lucy Nieto, Berta Lopez, Jose Luis Guiza, Maria Guiza and Minerva Chagolla. Also, 35 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Salvador S. Guiza and son, Juan Guiza.
Filiberta was a homemaker for over 76 years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017, 4-8 pm, at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 24, 2017, 11 am, at All Souls Mausoleum, followed by burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, both at 3510 E. Washington St., Colton, CA.
Filiberta will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
