A beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather. Flavio Torres was born on October 5th, 1955 in Michoacan, Mexico. In the latter of his teenage years he relocated to Mexico City, where he fathered his first born only four days prior to his 22nd birthday. The year was 1977, and in search of a better life for his family, Flavio made the bold and courageous decision to once again relocate, this time, to the United States to pursue the American dream.
Already a soccer fanatic, as he rooted for Cruz Azul, he proved to be an athlete himself. He played soccer, baseball, and volleyball, and eventually coached his two eldest sons in baseball. In December of 1988, Flavio found sobriety through a mutual aid fellowship better known as Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a member of many AA posts spanning from Los Angeles to Rialto and was fortunate to have attended several AA conventions throughout his 32 years of sobriety.
For over 30 years he was an avid sales entrepreneur. His sales interests included, but were not limited to, Royal Prestige cookware, Amway home care products, and Herbalife nutritional supplements.
Flavio learned to speak English and In 2001, twenty-four years after arriving in the United States and despite never going to school, he earned his United States citizenship. In 2004, he earned his Class A driver license and traveled through 46 different states throughout America, including New York, Florida, and Texas to name a few. He enjoyed driving the open road and visiting family spread out across the country.
Flavio leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Hortencia. His 5 sons, Roger, Albert, Ricky, Osmar, and Frankie. His lone daughter Perla, and three grandchildren, Anthony, Addison, and one soon to be born.

Un amado hijo, hermano, padre y abuelo. Flavio Torres nació el 5 de Octubre de 1955 en Michoacán, México. Ya fanático del fútbol, como apoyaba al Cruz Azul, demostró ser un atleta él mismo. Jugó fútbol, béisbol y voleibol, y finalmente entrenó a sus dos hijos mayores en béisbol. En diciembre de 1988, Flavio encontró la sobriedad a través de una beca de ayuda mutua más bien conocida como Alcohólicos Anónimos. Fue miembro de muchos puestos de AA desde Los Ángeles hasta Rialto y tuvo la fortuna de haber asistido a varias convenciones de AA durante sus 32 años de sobriedad.
