Fran was a very dear friend not only to me but to all the people who knew her. Her positive attitude reflected her faith in God and all that He had brought her through. Fran diligently supported our Lutheran Women's Missionary League as member and as Treasurer. With the Good Shepherd Auxiliary Fran helped us with many a rummage sale, Christmas boutique and spring kitchen boutique sales, prayer and monetary donations. Good Shepherd Auxiliary supports developmentally disabled adults living in Bethesda Lutheran Homes, a cause close to Fran's heart because of her great granddaughter's mild handicap. I will miss Fran. I know she had many struggles that weighed her down at times. But a more loving, caring friend I'll be hard to find. My husband, Jim, Fran's former pastor has already met her at heaven's gates.
