Frank R Gil Jr, age 85 died on Friday, June 21st, 2019 in Chino, CA where he lived the last 3 years of his life. He was born in Los Angeles to Josephina De Leon and Frank Gil Sr and had one brother Joe Gil. Growing up, Frank was one of the Pina Troop where he performed as a tumbler across the US and in Movies with his brother Joe and Uncles in the Rivas family, in 1952 he met and married Elisa Martinez where they married in 1953, together they had six children and many grandchildren. As an adult he enjoyed family get togethers and entertaining the kids in the yard with the many teeter boards. Frank was the epitome of selflessness, courage and strength, he made many sacrifices for his family, who in turn bestowed these values to their own children and grandchildren.
He is survived by children David (Betty), Rudy (Victoria), Melinda (Save), Frank Jr. (Anita), and Rosie, stepdaughter Susan (Alan), stepson Al, along with 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe Gil, first wife Elisa Gil, second wife Hope Gil, son Fernando Gil and granddaughter Monica Gil.
