George M. Cruz

George Cruz was born February 7, 1948 in Camarillo California, and he passed away at the age of 76 on April 1, 2024. He resided in Redlands, and passed away peacefully while being cared for at the Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Emma, six daughters: Yvonne, Yvette, Michelle, Roxanna, Georgina and Ammy; five son in laws; and his youngest sister, Noemi.

Grandchildren in birth order: Agustin III, Ashley, Orlando Jr., David, Christian, Melanie, Kaila, Isaac, Hailey, Aiden, Joseph, and Madison

Great granddaughters: Sophia and Lillie

George was born to the late Evodio and Paula Cruz and had 1 brother and 3 sisters. He was a man of few words but demonstrated his love and affection with his generosity and time. He gave without hesitation and enjoyed living his life. He was loved and respected by his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be held in George’s honor on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., services on Thursday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m., and the Committal Service will be at 2:30 p.m. All services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary located at 3520 E. Washington St. Colton, CA 92324.
