Gilbert is survived by; children, Mitchell Gonzalez; Alex Gonzales; Anglie "Angie" Gonzales; Berdie Contreras; Cindy Torres and daughter Julia Gonzales. His siblings, Rosie Hernandez, Luis Fernando Gonzalez and sister Lena Ugarte; 20 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his wife Toshi Gonzales.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Funeral Service on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., both at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California 92324. Burial will follow at Montecito Memorial Park.
