Carlos, I think of you from time to time, and today I learn you have gone to Heaven.  I remember you well, building that wonderful, life giving machine at LLUMC. (Picture Attached)  My prayers are with you and your beautiful family.  You left too soon, but I am sure god has a purpose.

Carlos you are and were so sincere and genuine. Bryan pointed out superior qualities in Carlos that few people really knew about.  
Our family was grateful that while my mother, Lorraine was going through Proton Therapy in 2011 and 2013 at Loma Linda University Medical Center, you were checking up on her. You my dear friend,  you amazed me how you would make sure to visit my mom whenever you saw her at the hospital.  He made her experience more personalized because she was my mother and he knew she meant the world to me. She was in good hands I always knew, but Carlos made her feel all the more at peace while she was receiving her treatments. My mother never forgot him and truly loved him. Always said what a nice young man. The last time I spoke with Carlos was a few months ago after my mom passed away in March 2015.  He said he was just checking on me because he promised my mom he would keep an eye on me.  He kept his promise. 
Carlos left this world too soon for us, but god must have had plans for him. God has made a place of peace and rest as you graduate into Angel duty. I pray for all Carlos' family to find a deeper love for each other through strength, peace, and healing. While letting go of the pain of loss is difficult, it will be even more so with him as he was a great man.   

I will never ever forget the special qualities in him and his personality that would put a smile on my face in the most critical times.  I haven't known many that top his generous love for people, a gift to put a smile on your face and a consoling soul that would help a body through a hard situation with a genuine concern.  I will miss him so much.  Carlos is a man that made a difference in peoples lives. He made our world a better place with his love of people and friendly attitude. Optivus will never be able to replace what they lost in this man. His dedication, love of his work building and repairing the PBTC. His love for helping people through his work will never be forgotten and truly will be missed. 

A star in the sky grew brighter with Carlos rising to the heavens. God is smiling as he has been blessed with one of the best angels among souls. 
I will truly miss you my friend. You deserve the best, because you were the best! God Bless you!

Carlos, we were all very, very blessed to have had you in our lives. You will always have a special place in our heart. We will be forever grateful for what you have done for our family, by way of our son, and brother, Frankie. We have watched Carlos grow from a playful young boy into a very kind, compassionate, loving and successful man. We truly enjoyed watching his face light up when he spoke of his family and how proud he was of Frankie and Phelicia. Letty, please know that you and the kids will forever be in our prayers. May you rest in peace brother Carlos.

Carlos was a great man. He was always sharing his wisdom and kindness with others. His encouraging and positive attitude comforted many. At this time, although there are no words, I lift his family to The Lord. May He bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time. It is obvious that Carlos has touched so many people's lives and will forever remain in our hearts.

I was standing in a grocery store line last night when a young girl didn't have enough money to pay for her stuff. It reminded me of a similar line many years ago when Carlos and I made an emergency supply run to keep the team going during one of those late night accelerator repairs. The lady ahead of us didn't have enough money for her groceries and Carlos was the first to reach into his pocket and pay for her groceries. Carlos was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it and I was happy for the opportunity to pass on Carlos' blessing to the girl. She thanked me by carrying one of the bags to my car and I told her a little bit about my friend Carlos and how people like him help make people like us better. She thanked us both and said she would light a candle for Carlos at the next Mass. 

As I drove away I realized that, even though he's gone, Carlos will continue helping others forever; through people like me, the girl, the lady, and the countless others who Carlos touched throughout his life.

Rest in Peace my Friend

I will always remember the happy times that I  spent working with you My Friend.
You will be missed a lot, will be always in our thoughts.
You were always there for people that needed help.

I have known and worked with Carlos for a number of years.  I always enjoyed speaking with him.  He cared for his family, the company he worked for and the people he worked with.  He was a man of integrity and wanted to do the right thing.
We used to share and tease each other with stories of raising teenagers.  After talking with Carlos I usually walked away with a smile.  Truly a great person and I am certain he touched many lives is a positive way.

My heart and prayers go out to you Figueroa Family.

I will always remember Carlos as a kind, happy, gentle spirit. He loved his family and always shared photos with me. Carlos was fun to be around and one of my favorite people. He will be greatly missed.

Although I didn't see Carlos a lot, I feel like I know him because of Jessie Anne and her funny stories about her and her brother and the whole family.  I know he was a very kind and loving person and he will be missed by all.  May you all find strength in our Lord and peace knowing that Carlos is in heaven and one day you will see him again.
