Howard (Howie) Charles Leippert Jr. passed away November 12th, 2023 from natural causes. He was born in Indiana to Howard Charles Leippert Senior and Doris Jeanette Leippert, on November 28th, 1959. The family moved to California when he was young, where he lived the rest of his life. Howard was a caring, warm, kind-hearted person and was a joy to be around. He enjoyed the simple things in life, time with family and friends, playing his guitar and spending time with his precious dog, Boomer. He had battled auto-immune disease for years yet always had a smile on his face, never complained and always asked others how they were doing.
Howie had strong faith and loved the Lord. John 14: 1-3- Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me, so that you also may be where I am.
He is survived by his daughter Jill (Mimi),(Shaw) Finley, grandchildren Edward, Jocelyn and Angelina Slaughter, brother-in-law, Delbert Dick, niece, Laurie Smith, nephew Mark Smith, great niece, Lexi Smith and numerous cousins. Preceding his death were both his parents, Howard and Doris Leippert, sister, Sherry Kay Dick, partner, Pam Shaw, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Howie was a beloved Son, Brother, Dad, Partner, Uncle and Friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Now that Howard has passed into the arms of our Lord, his physical life on earth is over but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for him.
