He was preceded in death by his wife Cecilia of 68 years. He is survived by his sons Joe of Redlands, Albert of Highland, Alfonso of San Marcos, Bernardo of Calimesa and Roger of Redlands, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
He is one of 9 children born to Anastasio and Rita Amparan Cerros of Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico. He is survived by 2 brothers, Ausencio and Jesus of El Paso, Texas and 2 sisters, Carmela and Teresa of Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Ines and Cecilia were married in the small town of Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico on January 1, 1955 and shortly immigrated to the United States settling in the little town of Maple, Texas where he worked as a sharecropper. During this period Cecilia gave birth to 5 sons and two daughters both of which did not survive child birth.
They moved to California in 1966 settling in the city of East Highland, California where they made their home until their passing.
He briefly worked for the East Highland Orange Company and then went on to work for the Cram family tending their 100-acre orange grove ranch for 34 years until his retirement in 2001.
He faithfully attended mass services at the Saint John Bosco Catholic Church in East Highlands, California for many years until his health began to fail and could no longer attend.
Visitation for Ines will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at Montecito Cypress Chapel, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, California 92354. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am at All Souls Chapel 3510 East Washington Street, Colton, California 92324. Ines will be laid to rest after the services at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 East Washington Street, Colton, California 92324.
