Jacklyn Kay Huckabee

This past Saturday, July 15, 2017, our beloved mother, sister, daughter, and blessed friend Jackie journeyed home to our Lord. For seventy-three years, from Salt Lake City to San Bernardino, along her path she graced, enchanted, and enhanced all our lives. She felt especially fortunate to be loved and treasured by her mother Dorothy, as well as her aunts Millie, Jo, and Gerry, who raised her as their own. Her closeness to her many cousins caused her heart to consider all of them her brothers and sisters. One of her deepest desires was to be a shining example of Christ’s Love and Joy, especially to her family. Even as she courageously battled cancer these last seven years, it was difficult for her to let go and say “I’ll be watching over you” to her children, Mary Clare and Dan Ruvalcaba, Keith and Tammie Huckabee, Joe and Sheila Huckabee, Roger Huckabee, Jr., and Sherrie and Randy Petersen, as well as her twelve beloved grandchildren and precious great-granddaughter. As Jackie has moved on to dance again with her cherished husband, Roger, she lives within each of our hearts. “Well done, thou good and faithful servant!”
