John J Ayala was born in Jerome, Arizona, on September 3rd, 1935, and passed on January 13, 2024. He leaves behind his beautiful wife of seventy years, Mary M. Ayala, and his children, Cynthia Marie Drey, Mary Ellen Baumann, and Steven Lawrence Ayala, and joins his son, Pete Eugene Ayala, who passed on August 13th, 2021. John had one sister, Rosie, and three brothers, Robert, Joe, and Gilbert, whom he had all loved very much in life. John, in life, had served two years with the US Marine Corps; along with that, he had served in the Air Force Reserve. He had worked for the civil service Navy as well. John had enjoyed entertaining family and friends and was passionate about playing his guitar and singing beautiful Spanish ballads.
He is loved and survived by his children, his nine grandchildren, and his eight great-grandchildren. He will be missed and always in our hearts.
Services will be at the Riverside National Cemetery on February 26, 2024, at 11:15 am.
