John Stephen Whitby Jr.

Born December 5th, 1952 and moved to heaven on February 24th, 2018.

Survived by his wife Christine Shaw, son Shawn and Stepson Christian, 6 grandchildren Breeana, Leah, Thor, Storm Brandon and Shawn, Jr and 3 great grandchildren, Noah, Aurora and Bryce.

John was the first born of 8 children of John S Whitby, Sr and Elsie Carson Whitby. His siblings William, Kathleen, Thomas, Donna, Christopher, Patricia and Wendy.

John was proceeded in death by his father John Sr, mother Elsie, his brothers William and Christopher and sister Kathleen.

John lived his life to the fullest, he had great passion for music, deep sea fishing, traveling, tennis, racing and off roading.

John always had a deep full belly laugh, a big smile and joy! He had a nickname for everyone, including his dogs and cat. John was always truly happy to hear about joy and happiness in others lives. He was a very kind man.

John had a deep full love of his Lord and Savior, Jesus! He spent many years studying God’s word and knowing God’s love and God’s awesome character.

John will be missed terribly but we have comfort in knowing he is with the Lord.
