Joseph Johnson

Joseph Johnson began his life on December 23, 1956. He was born to the late Thankamma Ruth Samuel and Plaviravila S. Johnson in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Joseph earned his Bachelor and Master of Commerce degrees from Mar Ivanios College, Trivandrum. Joseph and Lalitha (daughter of the late Lily and John Nallakaman) were married May 2, 1983 in Kaudiar, Trivandrum. After he immigrated to the United States, he pursued a career in Nuclear Medicine Technology. He worked at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana for the past 15 years. God blessed Jospeh and Lalitha with two wonderful children, Rajiv and Priya.

Joseph was a passionate musician and he was often seen singing and playing his guitar with a unique style. He always enjoyed a good discussion regarding world and church politics. As a lover of animals, he was an avid bird breeder and trainer. He was also actively involved in the Southern Asia Adventist Community Church in Loma Linda. His jovial nature brought humor into any conversation, where he never missed an opportunity for a laugh.

On January 27, 2015, Joseph was called home to our Heavenly Father. He leaves behind his devoted wife Lalitha, loving children Rajiv and Priya, siblings Rosemary, Margaret, George, and Valsa, numerous nephews and nieces, and a host of friends and relatives whose lives he graced.
