Hi Joe...It has been a little more than a year since I've seen you smile and heard you laugh. I think about you every single day and I miss you tremendously. My life is changed forever, I am no longer the person I used to be. I am now just going through the motions in life and will be happy when this agony is over. I have had a rough year...and I don't see the future changing anytime soon.
I have lost so much with your passing, and things will never be right in my world again.

Little did I know in March when I signed this guest book that that very year I would lose my son as well.  I tried to keep the news of Joe away from Michael as Michael truly considered Joe one of his best friends forever and Michael was going through such a tough time, I was afraid of what the news might do to him.

Well, now, all I can say is that they are together now.  Michael no longer misses Joe.  May they both rest in peace and walk in God's light forever together.

God bless Joe and Michael, his family and friends and give all of us strength and God's blessings.

It still somewhat feels like a dream that you are gone. I know that you are in a better place today... and you are surrounded by so many familiar faces. I am so thankful that I was able to know you, I cannot stress that enough. You have such a beautiful soul. There is not one moment spent with you that I can look back on and say it was anything less than wonderful. I won't forget all the fun times. All the funny times, should I say, even your telling me that my hair makes you want to eat crinkle fries? haha
You always lit up the room wherever you went. I loved the way that on the phone, it was always obvious when you were smiling! You could just hear it in your voice!! You know you never gave yourself enough credit for just how wonderful of a human being you were. I know that you touched every single person who knew you and their life in a special way. I know you meant the world to me and my boys. I will never forget you, I don't think they will either. You were so special, Joe. But, God always takes the best. I think about you often and I'm sure I always will. Rest peacefully, Joe.

God Bless you, Joe, may God keep you safe and warm.  My condolences to the family.  Even though I did not know him real well, my son always held him in his heart and mind as one of his good friends.  Joe was a sweetheart.  God bless him.

Joe You were an awesome cousin, and I almost died when I found out that you past away. I will miss you and I know you will be watching us plus I will always remember my third favorite cousin.

I only had the pleasure of knowing Joe a short time, having met him this last summer when he came to Kingman, AZ for a couple of weeks. Chivalry was not dead in Joe, he opened doors for me, carried heavy items, and helped out whenever he could. He was intelligent and could definitely hold up his end a conversation. He also had a great sense of humor, laughing with him was so easy. My condolences to the whole family, may you find peace and understanding during these times of turmoil.

To the Super Family, I am so sad to hear of your loss. Joe was a great friend to my kids growing up. I remember the day that Melanie brought you kids over and introduced you all to us. Dear Mr. & Mrs. Super and family, 
How do I begin?  My name is Christine Kunstler (formerly Griswold).  I met your beautiful son through my own sons, Kevin Griswold & Brian Griswold several years ago.  As a parent I cannot imagine the grief you must be feeling with this devastating loss. When Joe visited our home, he was always kind, smiling, and eager to help in any way.  For instance, if he had a bite to eat, he would always put his dishes in the dishwasher.  On one occasion, he notice our pool tiles coming loose.  He showed up one day and re-plastered them back on. Another time he brought some firewood for us on a cold evening so we could have a nice warm fire.  What a kind thoughtful young man you raised.  You should be very proud of him.  My husband Rick and I were of course shocked and so saddened to hear of his passing as were Kevin and Brian.  We will miss him.  God bless you all and we pray that you find peace and comfort in the coming months.

Although I've known you and your entire Super family for years, I was just getting to know you personally on a deeper level.  I regret that I didn't have more time with you sooner, but I am very thankful for the time I did have with you.  You felt like part of our family when you were around.  You were sweet, appreciative, polite, grateful, whitty and funny. Thank you for spending time with us.  You are greatly missed and will continue to be. We love you and all the Super family.  You were too young to go but left a lot of memories behind. Growing up across the street from you and sharing classes together and dancing with you at my wedding were some of many memories I will always remember. You always reminded me how I beat you up at your parent's house whenever I saw you or how we used to compete grades in school and how helpful you were getting me out of ditches with your atv whenever we would ride them. You're bright smile and bold blue eyes could light up the room and always made everyone laugh. I'll definitely miss all those moments growing up and playing outside as kids. Super's, I have always loved all of you. I feel thankful to have had meaningful conversations with Joe and to have shared good memorable experiences. Shared experiences in which during, the truth of our shared happiness and the meaningfulness that our friendship was something more valuable, could easily be validated and agreed upon with a split seconds worth of eye contact followed by real laughter. Joe, you know I love you and still feel that connection.
