Born on March 12, 1985, to Leonard and Gayle Dye in Bellflower, California, Kristie was the second oldest of five children, growing up alongside her siblings Leanne, Jennifer, Lauren, and Landon. She lived in her hometown, Loma Linda, and graduated from Redlands High School in 2003.
Kristie became a mother with the birth of her first child, Madisyn, in 2008, followed by Brendyn in 2012, Leilanee in 2017, and Alannah in 2021. She devoted herself to her children and family, who meant so much to her.
Kristie also took great pride in her work as a unit secretary in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Loma Linda University and as an office manager at Sparkle Family Dentistry. She loved to travel and experience new places, with some of her favorite trips taking her to Hawaii, Central America, and Japan.
She passed away in Loma Linda on September 29, 2026, at the age of 41.
Kristie had a light that could fill a room—a light felt by her family, her friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though her time with us was far too short, her light will continue to shine through everyone who loved her.
