My Papa
Did you know that me and my papa would always ask for ice cream after dinner?  When I would go to my tutoring sessions, he would always ask me to bring him some ice cream back because there was an ice cream shop next door. I would get the Oreo Ice Cream and he would too. I always made sure to say hi to my Nana and Papa before leaving for school.  When I return, I would make sure to say, hello, how was your day. My Papa was and will still be a cheerful and funny man. He was my everything and will still be. We had a lot of memories and to this day it feels like he is still alive, and he is still in my heart right now.

Larry Doss, our brother, our friend
Whether we were eating hot dogs at Costco, sitting on the patio in Ensenada, or just talking on the phone; simple conversations about sports, TV shows, like Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Walton's or movies, they were good times. As we listen to music, sometimes Jazz, my brother would say, "Mendoza, you don't like Jazz?" We would talk about the Lord and scriptures, praise God. We spent great times together, like Marriage Ministry outings, but it is sad we didn't get closer even earlier. So, to the Doss Family, we sit with you while we mourn; for we know that this is not "good bye", but rather "see you later". and will rejoice with you on that day.

Sis Phil, Shawn, and Judy, words cannot express the sorrow that I have for you all. I know the experience of losing a husband Oh so well and the pain that goes along with it, but this too shall pass! Elder Doss was one of my biggest supporters when it came to my singing. If I ever had any doubt as to if I could really sing or not, just hearing his praise afterwards would cancel  any doubt. He always made me feel good when I came back home to Crusaders and I will never forget him for that. Rest in Perfect Peace Elder, and we’ll all see you again someday!!! 🕊

We are definitely going to miss you Elder Doss (dad)! Seeing you at church that nice smile and those warm hand shakes and hugs. Because of the pandemic we've became more like family. You suggested we get together once a month and spend time together ❤️, whether it was hanging out at your house, or other homes or going out to restaurants to eat it was fun times we'll always remember. You've made a big impact on our lives! Thank you for adding us to your family! Love always Tyrone and Cheryl 💖 

My papa was a funny, wise, smart man, I will never forget him, My papa gave me so much motivation he use to always tell me I was beautiful and that I didn’t need make up he said I always had a natural blush to my face. He would always would hold my hand and look me in my eyes and say smile Rosy cheeks and then we would sit and talk about Law & order then he would put the biggest smile on his face and ask me for something cold to drink Lol and that’s how I received my nickname “Rosy cheeks” My papa also adored my son Aymer they loved going on walks together, he wanted nothing but the best for us. Your memory will live on forever RIP PAPA!!! Love Adriana & Aymer 🖤
