

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Delia, his son Matthew; grandchildren Zachery and Logan; his brother Romeo and wife Merlyn and their children Timmy, Vincent, and Ted, and his sister Estrella Lynch. He is also survived by his former wife, Fely and daughters Riza and Jane and sons Noel and Alain, his grandchildren Avi, Sarah and Jonathan, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren from Noel. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews from hi late brother Ramon Leo, or "Ody" as was fondly called, attended primary and secondary school in Cavite City before completing his college education and earning his law degree in Manila. He became a corporate lawyer for several businesses in Manila and also served in the Philippine constabulary for a year.
In 1979, Leo immigrated to the United States and began working as a supervisor at Big 5 Corporation, where he was employed for 22 years until his retirement in 2002. After retiring, he dedicated himself to being a husband and homemaker.
He lived in Hawthorne and Carson, CA before moving to Colton where he spent his later years after the Warehouse of Big 5 located to Fontana.
Leo had a deep passion for martial arts and proudly encourage his son to learn Tae Kwon Do. He was also an avid collector of hats, swords and samurai memorabilia. He enjoyed traveling to different places both in the U.S. and abroad, and was fond of visiting Casinos for recreation.
Amongst his proudest accomplishments was being one of the founding members of the Knights of Columbus Grand Terrace council where he served as financial secretary for several years. He later became a Fourth Degree Knight and Navigator of the Francisco Dumetz Council.
Leo Passed away suddenly at home on October 31, 2025 due to a heart attack.
Eternal rest grant unto the soul of Leo Vinzon, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
A visitation will be held at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324, on November 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral mass will take place at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 12745 Oriole Ave, Grand Terrace, CA 92313, on November 26, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The committal service will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 21300 Via Verde St, Covina, CA 91724, on November 26, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
