Leticia M. Gutierrez was one of six siblings born to Marciella and Jose Mares on August 28th, 1946 in Mexicali, Baja California. In search of a better life for herself, as a young adult she left Mexicali and immigrated to the United States, settling down in San Bernardino, California. Having a profound love for family and home, she went on to have three children, Sandra, Felix, and Luis. She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, extended family, and long time friends. Leticia passed away surrounded by family and friends on January 6th, 2024. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will always remain in our hearts.
A visitation for Leticia will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A committal service will occur Friday, February 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.
