Sister,  I miss you and think of you everyday.

I met Lillian when I started working at CMS.  She became a good friend.  She was always cheerful,  and had us laughing all the time.  She had a beautiful contiguous smile.  When I went to work at Colton High School we would get together for lunch.  We would also go to dinner twice a week before our night classes at Valley College.  When I retired she was always there for me when I needed prayer.   You will be truly missed!!! RIP Lillian!!!

My name is Jerry, the Mad Scientist, at Colton Middle School.  It was my pleasure, and Lilly would say, a blessing to have the opportunity to work with her for many years.  Lilly was always upbeat and positive, in the face of stress and interactions with students and staff.  Being of a science background, Lilly and I would have challenging and respectful discussions regarding science and religion.  I always looked forward to them.  Lilly was always there for helping students and staff.  I always enjoyed talking with her before students arrived, setting the basis for an upbeat day.  She said she would always pray for me, which is good, because I need all the help I can get!

The holidays were always special to Lilly at Colton Middle School.  She always participated in them for both the students and staff.  Christmas was always special to her, as it was a time we could say thank you to each other and give a little token of our appreciation.  She was always entertained by the wild costumes I would wear at Halloween.

My condolences to the family and those of us that remain to losing a good friend, an exemplary  and upbeat employee, and a stellar ambassador to God.  Rest in Peace, you've earned it!

My deepest condolences to Lilly”s family. Jack, Randy and Sarah and her grand daughter. Lilly was the first person I met at CMS. She was amazing. She always had a smile on her face and a zip in her step! She took me under her wing, introduced me to CJUSD. Everything Lilly touch flourished in people. She was unique and caring and yes a Christian woman! She will be deeply missed!  

My deepest  condolences to Jack, Randy and her grand daughter sister Sarah and the rest of the family. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Lillian was very special and kind person. She will be missed. I could always count on her for words of encouragement and when we last spoke to each other we just picked up where we left off Lilly never missed a beat. Her smile and presence will be missed.

Lillian, Was my Urbita elementary and Richardson middle school mate and neighbor.
The last time I saw her was at Stater Bros, about three years ago.
I was sad to hear of her passing. She left her mark in this world.

Lilly worked with my mom (Mrs. Ruiz) at the Jr. high. Always a jokester and making everyone laugh. I would run into her at Stater Bros. and she would always say hi. Rest in Peace Lilly.

When I first came to Colton Middle School in 1991, Lily was one of the first people to befriend me. She was a new Christian and my husband and I were just establishing our church. I walked her through the new Christian lessons that we used and that started a great bond. We prayed that God would put a hedge of protection about Colton Middle School and bring us Christian teachers. God answered that prayer beautifully. Lily and I witnessed a wonderful transformation on our campus in the student climate and the love that many of the teachers and staff had for one another. She was a dear friend and prayer partner. I look forward to our reunion in glory!

Lily was always so kind and thoughtful person.. when she would see the holes in my gloves and she would sew them..then the next day she came with a bag of new gloves for me..rest in peace Lily my friend until I see you again..miss and love you Hope 🌹💜🌻
