Lorella Ann Johnson passed away peacefully at age 90 on August 10, 2025, surrounded by her family. Ann was born in Los Angeles, CA, to Roy and Jennie Warren. She grew up in San Bernardino, CA, where she graduated from San Bernardino High School.
She attended Woodbury College in Pasadena, CA, where she met Rex Johnson, fell in love and married in May of 1956. Rex was drafted into the Army and they were stationed together in Germany. Their family began with the birth of their daughter, Linda, in December 1957. Their Son, Steve, was born 11 months later in November, 1958.
Ann deeply loved and cherished her family. She had a passion for cooking, sewing, quilting, needle pointing, crocheting, and knitting. It gave her great pleasure to cook for her family and to give her family and friends beautiful quilts, which are truly works of art.
Ann also loved to travel with Rex. Together, they visited many countries including Germany, Sweden, France, Scotland, England, and Italy. They were also fortunate to enjoy lengthy trips in their motorhome around the United States and Canada.
The family launched a memorable month-long trip across the United States touring in a travel trailer. Highlights included the graduation ceremony at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, and a visit to the White House with a peak at the Oval Office and Cabinet Room.
Ann is survived by her husband, Rex Johnson, with whom she shared 69 years of a happy marriage. She is survived by her two children, Steve Johnson and Linda Johnson Bryant, 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
Her family will always cherish the memories of her, and forever hold her dear in our hearts.
